常聽到有人唸EE 跑去找coding 等軟體工作

我想請教一下H1B 簽證規定的只能找跟
自己major 相關的工作到底是如何定義的呢？在沒有轉major 或 double major 的情況
下，如何判定H1B工作內容有無符合自己的major

如數學物理跑去做coding 請問有符合規定嗎？

請有經驗的人排解疑惑。感謝不盡
