We are seeking a Network/Server Administrator to support the latest
technologies in colocation datacenters: high-capacity/low-latency networks,
high-performance servers, network switches, and network cards. The new hire
will employ a methodical approach towards evaluating new and emerging
technologies that will have a direct and measurable impact to our firm’s
customers.

can become an integral part of a smaller team. This position allows for a
high degree of freedom as well as the ability to be actively involved in the
solutions to a variety of challenging problems. While the work is rigorous
and demands a high level of commitment, the firm maintains an open,
cooperative and collegial atmosphere.

Job Responsibilities
- Network/server administration in exchange co-location, high-performance, high
availability and low-latency computing environments
- Install/configure/deploy/support hardware in production environment: Linux
systems, NICs, switches, VLANs, VPNs, and network taps, leased lines,
datacenter cross-connects, and low-latency networks
- Interact with users and developers in China, Taiwan, and USA to troubleshoot
server/network issues; coordinate with China hardware vendors and datacenter
personnel to resolve issues; periodically visit colocation datacenters
- Occasional travel to mainland China on short notice, and substantial
interactions with tech personnel in China

Salary

800,000- 1,200,000 per year
