J-1 scholar適不適用1040NR - 海外工作

1040NR的instruction上面是寫

Teacher or trainee who is
temporarily present under a “J” or “Q”visa

Student who is temporarily present under an
“F,” “J,” “M,” or “Q” visa

可以exempt

但是我的VISA是J-1的scholar不是student或是trainee

是不是表示我只要待滿183天就變成要用1040R ?


又或者，我太太是F1-OPT (顯然是104NR)

假如要跟我一起報的話，是不是誰為主就用誰的status報@@

你老婆如果已經持F1超過五年的話就不是NR了

NR只能各報各的,沒有配偶的exemption;但可由R的配偶一同MFJ
