中科投資環評卡關 台積電被迫出走大陸
今日媒體導指出，全球最大的晶圓代工廠台積電，中科18吋廠原本打算今年三月動土，卻
因衝擊大肚山生態環境，在當地環保團體抗爭下，連續三次環評闖關失利，讓董事長張忠
謀重新布局，在台灣已無地可用下，一直堅持把先進製程留在台灣的張忠謀，恐將被迫赴
大陸蓋12吋廠。
台積電對此回應，未來可能透過參股或者蓋新廠的方式，投資大陸12吋精圓廠，這些方案
目前都在評估中。
報導指出，有知情人士表示，18吋廠遷往南科不是問題，嚴重的是因此產生的連動效應，
「這幾年環保意識抬頭，科學園區的新開發案都遭反對，儘管南科有大片土地，台積電也
得替第二座、第三座18吋廠預留後路，這讓台積電12吋廠去中國變成不得不的選擇。」
