台積電奪FPC單 8吋產能塞爆
晶圓代工台積電（2330）8吋產能大爆滿，搶下中芯國際大客戶瑞典Fingerprint Cards
（FPC）指紋辨識晶片大單，目前正進行產能認證，若一切順利，預計2017年第1季投片。
FPC為中國指紋辨識晶片最大供應商，市占率70%以上，2017年投片量將塞爆台積電8吋產
能，未來年營收5%至10%成長率可輕鬆達陣。
FPC指紋辨識主要投片於中芯國際，雙方合作約2年多，由於投片量大，足以填滿晶圓廠產
能。指紋辨識晶片被中芯視為重點扶植產品之一，FPC更是中芯重量級大客戶。據中國手
機業者指出，隨著FPC逐漸在中國手機市場站穩腳步，2014年還在虧損，2015年在中國大
放異彩、轉虧為盈，FPC對於良率要求也越來越高。
由於FPC指紋辨識晶片電路設計其面積在8吋晶圓約可產出300餘組晶片，而同業甚至有可
生產到650組晶片，相同晶圓面積下，FPC產出較少，良率優劣問題逐漸浮上檯面，而中芯
8吋良率始終不穩定，迫使FPC積極尋找第二方供應者（second source）。
目前FPC正對台積電8吋晶圓進行產能認證，順利的話，於明年第1季即可投片，高階晶片
將先行投片於台積電，未來逐季將訂單從中芯轉移至台積電生產。根據FPC先前法說會指
出，該公司2014年可定址指紋辨識晶片市占率45%，2015年則高達50%至70%。
野村證券產業分析更進一步指出，去年FPC在中國市場擁有高達90%市占率，在指紋辨識晶
片市場具有主導地位。客戶涵蓋華為、酷派、魅族、中興、LG等中國一線手機大廠。業界
預估FPC轉單量大，勢必塞爆台積電8吋產能，也間接造成IC設計訂單排擠，進一步流向世
界先進。
根據北京群智諮詢（Eintell）研究數據顯示，2016年全球指紋識別晶片的需求量約4.98
億顆，年增約40%，預計2017年全球指紋識別晶片將超7億顆，全球近50%的智慧型手機搭
載指紋識別功能。
