台積電董事長劉德音昨(18)日首度對外釋出台積電先進製程已向2奈米推進,且每周都
有新創意出現,令人振奮。台積電研發暨技術副總黃漢森昨天也同步揭露摩爾定律還可往
低於1奈米前進,並透過三維封裝技術持續活躍,凸顯台積電在先進製程推進毫不鬆懈,
不給對手有任何超車機會。
半導體業年度盛會「台北國際半導體展(SEMICON Taiwan)」昨天開幕,展出規模再創新
高,劉德音和黃漢森分別在「科技智庫領袖高峰會」和「創新技術論壇」中,釋出台積電
先進製程最新動態。本屆台北國際半導體展從昨天起至本周五(20日)舉行。
劉德音昨天擔任「科技智庫領袖高峰會 」首位演講者,他表示,就台積電技術發展來看
,領先全球的7奈米,今年是第二年量產,已生產超過100萬片12吋晶圓,技術更達車用規
格;5奈米也於昨天走出試產階段,準備進入量產,明年將是急速擴張的一年。
劉德音話鋒一轉,且露出愉悅神情指出,台積電目前研發主力著眼3奈米。他強調,台積
電3奈米進度非常令人欣慰,2奈米也成立尋找路徑團隊(pathfinding group),正式步
入技術規劃藍圖,目前台積電正研究中,每周都有新創意。
劉德音強調,台積電在半導體製程的進步不只微縮,也發展到三維立體空間晶片整合(
3D IC)、雲端設計等,與客戶進行架構創新,半導體進展將不再以面向考量,而是以密
度、運算能力為指標。他並強調,若每個人口袋都有量子電腦,台積電也不會缺席。向外
界正式表明,台積電也投入量子電腦相關元件的開發。
外界質疑摩爾定律很快會遭遇瓶頸,黃漢森指出,以台積電目前技術進展,還是會很活躍
。黃漢森表示,台積電7奈米晶圓製程去年開始量產,5奈米製程相關生態圈也已完備 ,
未來將有3奈米製程,隨晶圓製程節點進步,也有可能發展2奈米、 1奈米,甚至低於1奈
米,接近0。
