想去SpaceX工作需要加強哪方面能力? - 工程師

魯魯之前有妄想研究過 Boeing 類似的工作

雖然比較沒那麼強大

但基本上要求的是差不多的喔鳩咪

Mechanical Design Engineer

機械設計工程師

Responsibilities:
‧Design of enclosures and mounting fixtures for individual avionics
components
‧Design and routing of wiring harnesses, and mechanical configuration of
top-level vehicle assemblies
‧Participate in initial mechanical design, 3D modeling, creation of
production drawings and maintenance of design data
‧Failure analysis of components as it relates to thermal, loads, vibration
and shock
‧Interface with the hardware design engineers to understand EMI/EMC
mitigation
‧Interface with machine shops and production teams to ensure final designs
can be produced in accordance with overall project goals

職位需求

‧設計航電+夾具
‧載具配線
‧3D建模+生產
‧高溫、載、震動、衝擊失敗分析
‧電磁遮蔽設計
‧與生產團隊合作

其實這個條件還滿硬的，老實說老美很多台灣不可能玩到的學科技術
例如說爆炸力學 (炸藥爆速與影響etc)
要懂高 G 力設計就是一個很大的門檻了，台灣研究到的系所大概不超過十間吧
公司的話，大概也只有公民營各 2~3 間

Basic Qualifications:

‧Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering; must have excellent knowledge
of mechanical design principles
‧More than 3 years of overall industry experience in the design and
packaging of mechanical and electrical systems
‧Previous experience with parametric 3D modeling software for complex
top-level assemblies; Unigraphics is preferred
‧Experience with high-volume production designs – design for
manufacturability

基本資格
‧機械學位，設計專業
‧3 年工作經驗機械 + 電子
‧3D 建模經驗，會用 Unigraphics 最好
‧大量製造，可製造性分析

這邊大概都老梗，不過我覺得有一點很值得關注的是
SpaceX 重視的是 "大量製造" 而不像 NASA 傳統的高生產難度零件，很邱

Preferred Skills and Experience:

‧Master’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering
‧Experience in high production volume industries such as consumer
electronics, mobile phones or automotive backgrounds are highly preferred
‧Experience designing wiring harnesses and routing instructions for complex
assemblies
‧Some exposure to the design of machined parts
‧Working knowledge of thermal and structural FEA studies.
‧Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
‧Passion for advancing the commercial space industry and human spaceflight

‧需符合美國政府的航太技術出口法規
1. 申請人必須是美國公民，在美國的合法永久居民
2. 合乎依照8 U.S.C.定義保護個人1324b（一）（3）
3. 或有資格獲得美國國務部所需的授權

就算你讀完書拿到綠卡 + 公民，你父母、子女不是公民，還是洗洗睡
(Boeing 的條件寫得比較清楚，限定一等親都是公民且長年居住美國)
然後通過身家調查
