新OPT規定: F1可以合法開公司營利嗎？(self-employment) - 海外工作

關於新的OPT規定，不能超過90天unemployed

但是可以self-employ ( 必須有恰當的business license

並且work full-time)。這是表示F1 VISA 下的OPT

只要有state/city/county business license 並按時繳稅等

就可以合法開公司嗎？

有人有經驗或是更詳細的解釋的嗎？

Self-employed business owner. Students on OPT may start a business

and be self-employed. In this situation, the student must work full

time. The student must be able to prove that he or she has the proper

business licenses and is actively engaged in a business related to

the student’s degree program.
