新思科技(Synopsys)近日宣布,與台積電合作推出7奈米高效能運算(High
Performance Compute)平台創新技術。
新思指出,這些新技術是由新思與台積電合作的7奈米製程設計平台的工具所提供。
在新科技支援下,台積電與新思科技幫助晶片設計人員針對7奈米製程進行高效能設計。
雙方共同開發的技術包括通路銅柱(via pillar)、多源樹合成(TCS)和混合時脈
網格(clock mesh),以及可配合關鍵網(critical net)上阻力及電阻的自動化匯流排
繞線(automated bus routing)等功能。
新思表示,在設計前段(front-end)到實體實作(physical implementation)的流
程,結合台積電製程科技,開發輔助高效能設計的創新技術,藉此共同客戶可創造先進的
