台電因疏失導致303全台大停電,引發各界高度關注產業供電穩定度。台積電各廠發電機
備援能力均大於15%;聯電等其他晶圓代工台廠還設置再生能源發電設施、 儲能設施,以
增加廠區供電韌性。
台積電創辦人張忠謀曾說「台積電一分鐘都不能缺電」,一語道出台積電對充足穩定供電
的迫切需要;其實不僅對台積電而言,電力供應短缺或中斷也會衝擊聯電、世界先進及力
積電等晶圓代工廠營運。
若無法獲得可靠且不間斷的電力供應,晶圓代工廠滿足客戶訂單的能力將受到嚴重削弱,
可能影響企業聲譽及客戶下單信心。
晶圓代工廠將電力供應短缺風險造成的影響,與水源供應短缺或中斷、廢水排放影響環境
風險的影響,皆視為嚴重等級,並保有高度風險意識,採取多項防範措施。
因應可能的跳電風險,晶圓代工廠針對重要生產機台配置不斷電系統(UPS),並將不斷
電系統的鉛酸電池更換為鋰鐵電池,提升供應穩定度,另外還建立發電機柴油安全庫存量
管控機制,強化供電韌性。
台積電各廠發電機備援能力大於15%的供電能力,可提供最大限電幅度時的電力來源。聯
電等其他國內晶圓代工廠還設置再生能源發電設施、 儲能設施,並打造綠建築,推動節
能措施。
台積電與聯電也都加入RE100行列,設定階段性採用再生能源目標,預計2050年達成100%
採用再生能源的目標,順應國際淨零碳排的潮流。
