本文參考 MIT Prof. Tavneet Suri 於Yale International Development Economic
Program之座談，她簡介了念發展經濟的碩士班學生未來的生涯規劃，我添油加醋後
與大家分享，拋磚引玉希望對於有志從事國際發展工作的朋友有些幫助。

國際發展的出路不是圍繞著政府相關的機構打轉，就是在私人基金會或是一般非營
利組織服務，再不然就是在學界從事相關的研究。而台灣學生在這領域走的會比較
辛苦一些，我們剛走完自己的發展過程，開始有能力去幫助其他的國家，卻因為國
籍的關係四處受限，實在是非常的可惜。聯合國及世界銀行之類的機構我們連邊都
碰不上，而台灣唯一是會員國的大型國際組織是亞洲開發銀行（ADB），據信也沒有
太多人能夠進去。其他國際發展組織多半立於歐美，一般台灣人常受制於簽證問題
而困難重重。台灣的相關機構情況我不是非常清楚，但據我所知有參與國際發展或
援助的非營利組織屈指可數，這方面還希望在相關領域的朋友多多交流。

附帶一提，這是一個經濟學者開出的名單，自然忽略了多數人權機構與環保團體，
以下所列僅為各方向比較有名的組織，而這名單永遠沒有寫完的一天，期待在這條路上
的大家都可以找到自己的路，將熱情貢獻給社會。
