請問辦理結婚登記或證明 - 美國

小弟不久前在台灣結婚了,
老婆也剛剛陪我一起到美國生活,
由於公司醫療保險與W4繳稅的問題,
我需要提出結婚證證明,
今天也去Register of Deeds辦理登記，但是不太順利，
今天並無法完成登記，
服務人員只給我們一張60天有效證明書,
然後我們必須拿著這張證明書在60天內去法院公證結婚,
之後才能拿到有效的結婚證明，
前後最快也要一兩個星期以上才能完成拿到證明，
我想請問各位有辦過結婚證明的大大們，
是否也是這麼麻煩呢？
是否可以直接拿台灣的英文結婚證明書來辦理醫療保險跟W4繳稅?
