如先前預期,台積電3奈米預計在9月開始量產,改良型N3E製程也傳出好消息,一張疑似
是台積電內部投影片的照片在推特上流傳,上面寫道,N3E製程研發順利,進度超前,經
過測試後的產品良率表現達到80%。
外媒Tom’s hardware引述推特上一名自稱半導體技術愛好者流出的疑似台積電內部投影
片進行報導,投影片顯示N3E製程256Mb SRAM平均良率達80%,Mobile和HPC晶片的良率也
有80%,另外,經過良率驗證的環式震盪器性能優於92%。
報導提到,市場上對於N3E製程研發順利並不驚訝,台積電擁有專門的團隊進行技術改良
,並期待能生產出更高效率、低功耗的晶片。
事實上,台積電總裁魏哲家曾在7月的法說會上表示,N3E製程是3奈米世代製程的延伸,
有更好的效能、功耗和良率,預計明年下半年進入量產,未來3奈米家族將是台積電另一
個大規模且有長期需求的技術節點。
此外,魏哲家也透露,台積電3奈米量產後,預計明年上半年貢獻營收,2奈米製程則預計
在2024年開始試產,隔年進入量產,屆時在密度和能源效率上都會是業界最先進的技術,
進一步擴展台積電的技術領先地位。
