通常最好的辦法會是請教相關領域的前輩 比較能根據個人情形去做衡量
當然大家在入社會前累積的社會人脈有限
我非常建議的是 你利用人力資源網站的職缺去認識工作內容跟所需條件
會有個很明確的概念
台灣的金融業在職缺說明部分過於籠統 但美國的倒是很不錯

Maintaining financial models and forecasts, valuation matrices, industry
statistics and graphics as well as writing equity and industry research,
responding to client requests for information and other similar tasks typical
in a high-powered bulge-bracket type of environment

The research assistant/associate will be part of a 4-man team producing steel
industry equity research and industry analysis. This includes creating and
maintaining financial models and forecasts, valuation matrices, industry
statistics and graphics as well as writing equity and industry research,
responding to client requests for information and other similar tasks typical
in a high-powered bulge-bracket type of environment. Strong attention to
detail, drive for success and work ethic are key to success in this position.

Responsibilities include:
‧ Developing niche expertise as an “industry expert”
‧ Writing research on industry and company matters
‧ Consulting directly to managements of client companies, hedge funds and
other money managers
‧ Maintain company specific financial and valuation models
‧ Maintain industry databases
‧ Respond to customer-driven analytical requests in a timely fashion
‧ Research and write company and industry specific reports

General Qualifications:
‧ 1-3 years of specific work experience; required previous job experience in
one of three functions; financial analyst in bulge bracket investment
banking, associate in bulge bracket investment banking, or direct equity
research function of any type. Preference for basic materials or industrial
coverage responsibilities.
‧ Strong academic background with a degree in finance or accounting
preferred. Grades must be supplied for candidates to be considered.
‧ Well developed financial modeling skills
‧ Proficient at financial statement analysis
‧ Keen attention to detail and good organization skils
‧ Excellent verbal and written communication skills
‧ A strong work ethic
