RA OPENINGS IN THE UNIVERSITY OF HONG KONG
Positions:
School of Economics and Finance, The University of Hong Kong,
is recruiting a full-time Research Assistant (RA) and/or an overseas RA.
The RAs will work under the supervision of Prof. Konan Chan.
1. Research field: FINANCE, including corporate finance and asset pricing;
2. Monthly salary: HK$11,000-13,000 for the full-time position, negotiable
for the overseas RA;
3. Starting time: The full-time RA can start to work as early as Nov., 2010,
depending on the processing time for a HK visa. The overseas RA can start
as soon as the application is successful.
Requirements:
1. Be very familiar with SAS: efficiently use SAS to manage data and perform
statistical tests;
2. Finance or business/economic related major is preferred;
3. Detail-oriented, patient, careful, hard working, and able to deliver work
on time;
4. Possess excellent English reading and communication skills;
5. Candidates for the full-time position should hold a bachelor degree or
above while those for the overseas position can be at least senior
undergraduate students with enough working time;
6. Work in Hong Kong or overseas up to Jun., 2011.
Recruitment Process:
Interested candidates please send their resume, diploma (if applicable),
transcripts, relevant information, and statement explaining why to take
the job to [email protected] before Oct 15, 2010. Potential candidates
will have a SAS test and later a telephone interview (in English) after
the application materials are received. Applicants may consider their
