Title:Sr. Platform Software Engineer

Jobdescription:

Be the first to work on next generationplatforms providing high performance
network and security appliance. Responsibilitiesincluding, but not limited to:

· Multi-core OS bring up/enhancement (FreeBSD)

· Multi-thread scalability analysis/tuning

· System level/device level performance analysis/tuning.

· Device driver implementation/porting

· Platform software development



Qualification:

Computer Science Bachelor Degree, MasterDegree or equivalent.

5 to 10 years of hands on platform/OSsoftware experience on i386 platform including

· OS bring up (FreeBSD and/or Linux)

· Kernel level programming/debugging (FreeBSD and/or Linux)

· Device driver implementation/debugging/tuning especially forEthernet devices

· System level (hardware and software) diagnostic/analysis/debugging

· Multi-processor and/or multi-thread programming/debugging

· Familiar with server board level bus standards and architectures

· IP networking knowledge

· Blade system



Excellent C programmer with good knowledge in datastructures and algorithms

Excellent communication skill to effectively work withboth local and overseas
development team in BeiJing, China

Redundant system knowledge a big plus
