之前幫學弟妹看一下 Package
發現很多 Recruiter 都會在談薪水的時候用話術騙人
一般來說美國軟體業算年薪的方法是
Base + Bonus + Sign-On/4 + RSU/4
舉個例子 假如
Base 160k
Bonus 10%
Sign-On 50k
RSU 320k
你年薪應該就是 160 * 1.1 + 50/4 + 320/4 = 268.5k
Levels.fyi 和 Blind大多都這樣算
除以4是因為一般RSU四年發完之後很多都會跳槽了
因為後面就算有補股票(refresher) 大多都會比第一份RSU少很多
我看到的學弟妹談Package時 Recruiter都會這樣算
160 * 1.1 + 50 + 320/4 + 搬家費(算20k好了) = 326k
(或是最近Google/Uber流行給的Front loaded RSU也會讓前兩年暴衝)

四就對了。因為現在美國也玩朝三暮四那一套,有很
多調成前兩年很高。每一間公司vest的時間點都不一
樣,所以直接算會比較公道一點。

那樣給 也是算過的 讓你每年領的差不多。apple也類
似 refresher 超大筆 (大於十萬美金)sign on 分
兩年 所以加起來其實每年差不多。要講TC 其實就跟台
灣一樣講“今年”多少就好了 反正不爽明年就可以跑
像我自己是打算2年多 跑一次 那我sign on 是不是/

然後ICT4你如果在Blind裡面看poll其實100k以上大概
一半,扣掉HW那側可能只有70%是拿100k… AIML我都聽
過8/9拿80k的了 AAPL不是META有一個fix的target…

senior才比較合適的。至少資深一點senior的sign on
除了AMZN那種犧牲RSU來front load的,通常跟RSU比都
還是算少。資深一點的L5 RSU要談到接近1M,low L6破
1M應該都不會太難。但你一年跳一次,你在design跟be
havioral關基本上除非有好理由不然不太容易拿到好的
資深offer
