‧University graduate or above with major in IE / Business related /
Mechanical Engineering
‧8 years + in related field
‧Good command in English both in oral and written capability
‧Good at problem analysis, logical & positive thinking and decision making
‧Strong communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills
‧Project skill: KT, MRP II, project management, and 6 sigma
‧CPIM certification or consulting experiece is preferred

Scope of Responsibility:
‧Country responsibility: Asia Pacific Countries including Japan, Greater
China, India, and other 10 Asia Countries
‧Reporting line (who this person reports to): Head of Customer Excellence,
Lab Asia
‧Number of staff: 2

Key Individual Accountabilities
‧Develops and executes on an aligned direction for Customer Excellence
based on centralized monitoring & decision making.
‧Maximizes the capabilities of the Customer Excellence organization
through system and tool enhancement, global project resource allocation and
training and process documentation.
‧Allows organization to deliver differentiated value to our customers and
through preparation for an integrated end to end state.
‧Analyzes and measures the effectiveness of existing business processes
and develops sustainable, repeatable and quantifiable business processes and
improvements to those processes.
‧Researches best business practices within and outside the organization to
establish benchmark data.
‧Carries out risk assessments and implements measures to ensure compliance.
Provides technical knowledge, advice and support to Customer Excellence
organization to resolve requests and maximize the benefits derived from the
organization's products and/or services.
‧Leads own team of professional staff to identify and resolve technical,
operational and organizational problems of limited complexity.
‧Adapts departmental plans and priorities to address resource and
operational challenges.
‧Interface with SCM to achieve supply and demand balance at regional level

Key Skills/Knowledge
‧Uses advanced analytical skills to solve complex problems or problems
that do not have routine solutions and takes a new perspective.
‧Strong IT background with track record in system analyst will be a plus
‧Has in-depth business knowledge and uses understanding of how relevant
areas integrate to achieve objectives.
‧Applies technical expertise, analytical skills and judgment in the
analysis of factual information in complicated or novel situations, takes a
broad perspective to problems and identifies new, less obvious solutions,
anticipates patterns and links, looks beyond the immediate problem to the
wider implications.
‧Shows business acumen well beyond own team and understands how different
areas jointly contribute to achieving objectives within the sub-function.
‧Works effectively in a mixed environment and uses best practices and
knowledge of internal or external business issues to improve products or
services and to define processes and standards.

Basic Qualifications:
‧5+ years supply chain, inventory management and/or project management
experience.
‧Strong data extraction, analytical and problem solving skills; ability to
work with large, complex data sets and familiarity with statistics or other
analytical techniques; Excel skills are required.
‧Strong process definition and optimization skills; proven ability to
define effective, efficient, and scalable processes.
‧Experience working across functions and with external business partners.
‧Fluent in both Chinese and English.

Preferred Qualifications:
‧Graduate degree in Business, Engineering or a Supply Chain/Operations
discipline preferred
‧Experience working with computer databases and tools and process
improvement techniques such as Kaizen, Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma
‧Proven ability to succeed in cross-functional teams through influence
versus direct management; excellent interpersonal skill
