Whirlpool onsite interview後的HR回覆 - 面試

禮拜二去了Whirlpool的密西根總部面試了工業設計助理設計師職位. 我帶了我的筆電,
平常畫圖的sketchbook, 和一本之前實習時做的各個案子的設計流程 (產品已上市).
從早上八點半一路面試了六位不同產品線的資深設計經理, 一位首席工業設計師, 和一位
北美區設計總監. 下午兩點的時候和一組工業設計團隊 (大概十位工業設計師左右)發表我
的作品集. 最後下午三點的時候HR為我準備了一趟附近社區的導遊, 結束了這一天的
onsite interview. 我感覺這趟面試下來還算不錯, 和主管面試的時候主要都問我履歷
和作品集裡的問題, 面試氣氛融洽, 問答過程中也沒有太尷尬的情況出現. 大部份設計師
表示對我作品集裡的概念很有興趣, 都覺得很不錯. 隔天我對各個面試者發了封thank you
letter, 也問了HR下個階段會是什麼, 以及什麼時候會知道最後結果等等. 兩天後HR給了
我這樣的回覆:
"I was able to touch base with the hiring team to talk about how the interview
went on Tuesday. Everyone really liked you and wants to revisit the discussion
of opportunities when you get closer to the end of your internship. There is
one area that the team would like to see more of though in regards to your work
, which is your raw ideation. In Whirlpool it is important to be able to bring
multiple ideas to the table and the team would like to see more of this in your
work. With that, as you gain more experience during your internship and have
more work to show the team, I would love for you to send it to me to share so
that everyone can see your growth in this area.
I really want to thank you for coming onsite to meet everyone and share your
work. Everyone really enjoyed their time with you! Please feel free to reach
out to me if you have any questions at all. Otherwise, as you get closer to the
end of your internship lets get back in touch and talk about opportunities!”
面試過程中我有提到, 我在六月到八月這段期間會去實習. 但我對HR轉述設計團隊給我的
回應有點不太認同... 我的作品集裡有放了構想發展的草圖, 也給他們看了我平時畫圖的
sketchbook, 我不明白設計團隊為什麼認為我的構想發展草圖不夠呢?是雞蛋裡挑骨頭嗎
?而且在產品量產上市前, 所有的設計流程是不能對外公開的, 這點應該是常識, HR怎麼
會要我把在接下來實習階段中的設計草圖寄給他們看... 這點讓我覺得很疑惑... 我準備
再寄給他們一些其他我沒帶去的構想發展草圖, 等他們會有什麼樣的回應.
想請問各位, HR給的這封信是軟性的拒絕信嗎?還是說我對這個職位還是有機會的呢?HR
要我結束三個月的實習後再來談, 但我覺得三個月後這職缺就沒了吧... 希望有經驗的各
位為我解惑一下, 感謝大家!
