台灣科技產業的衰敗 - 工程師

我曾在一家很大, 老闆很愛上媒體講話的公司待了兩年(不講白免得被告), 離開後我
對這家科技公司只有一個結論, 在講結論前請先聽一段比喻:
"當你走著走著, 發現前面有一道牆時, 正常且有腦袋的人, 會站在牆前面思考, 該
如何過到牆的另一邊, 是去找工具來鑽出一個大洞來呢? 還是去找個大梯子爬過去?
或是去找找資料研究一下現今技術有沒有更有效率的方法讓你可以輕易的過到牆的
那一頭"
"但如果你在這家公司碰到這種情形時這樣做, 鐵定會被狗幹到狗血噴頭!!"
"因為這家公司的人當遇到這種情況時, 一定是馬上用頭去撞那面牆, 當你撞的滿臉
鮮血時, 老闆會跟你說, 好好好, 你果然是我的好員工!!"
"而且如果你真的很幸運把牆撞破了, 沒話說, 就是升職加薪了, 老闆巴不得希望你
把這種撞牆哲學傳授給公司那票沒前途, 成天只想玩樂的年輕人"
結論是, 在這家"科技公司", 頭不是用來思考和研究的, 是用來撞牆用的!! 你覺得只
有這家公司是這樣嗎? 不不不, 在職場上我後來又待了別的號稱績優公司後, 發現情況
其實差不多, 只是嚴重程度不同而已, 而且這些管理階層又因為待過大公司後, 更容易
到其它中小公司取得更高職位, 使得撞牆派的人才不停的外溢, "造福"整個台灣科技圈
所以台灣老闆為什麼喜歡 hire 四大的學生, 骨子裏並不是認為他們到公司來後, 他們
的思考和研究能力會對公司很有幫助, 而是認為他們的頭用來撞牆的話, 牆比較會破,
大概是因為這些學生書看多了用腦過度的結果, 頭殼比那些成天玩樂的人要硬多了.
台灣的科技業為什麼會沒落? 你會撞牆, 大陸人不會嗎? 韓國人不會嗎? 台灣人的頭殼
是有比其它國家的人先天上更硬嗎? 況且, 要比撞牆的人數優勢, 台灣人有比其它國家
人數更多嗎? 如果這兩個優勢都沒有, 台灣憑什麼贏?
"在台灣的科技圈, 所謂的專業, 就是撞牆的專業, 我們不比思考與研究的深度, 只比
撞牆的力道與決心!!"
