National Institutes of Health (NIH) Postdoctoral Fellowship Position.
A postdoctoral position is available in October, 2008, to study the molecular
mechanisms of hereditary neurodegenerative lysosomal storage diseases (Hum.
Mol. Genet. 15(2):337-346, 2006; Nat. Med. 7:478–484, 2001). Studies will
employ transgenic and knockout mouse models using methodologies in
neurobiology, molecular and cellular biology and protein biochemistry.
A strong background in molecular biology, biochemistry, cell and neurobiology
is desired. Interest and experience in heritable neurodegenerative storage
diseases are a plus. Applicants must have Ph.D., M.D., or M.D./Ph.D. degrees
and should have less than 5 years of postdoctoral experience. Please send
