看履歷的感想 - 生技

我們公司算是業界裡面滿大的生技相關行業,
一般民眾都知道名字的那種..
前幾天,我老闆砍了一個研發的同事..
這個同事是整個研發裡面最資深的..
砍的原因就不多說了(不是因為她薪水高啦!)
總之,接下來我就負責開始找新人
我們只到一家人力銀行張貼徵人啟事,因為這樣的履歷就夠多了
(記得幾個月前我找人時在兩家人力銀行都貼,
那段時間真是噩夢,每天開信箱都是壓力..)
開徵人啟事兩三天下來,
平均每天都會收到70~80封履歷
而且還沒有重複..
所以累積到現在,我手上已經有數百封履歷了
為了快速消化這些履歷,
我採用了一般應徵者會失望的作法,就是從學歷篩選
(不要鞭我,因為當你手上有數百封履歷,而且天天都會快速增加時,
不得不想個快速篩選的方法)
首先,扣除掉不相關的科系(這很少,大約不到一成)
然後選擇國立名校(私立的學校除非很有名,不然直接跳過)
接下來就是要有經驗,這經驗不見得是工作經驗,但至少要有實驗經驗
然後看專長是否符合?(我們需要有細胞和動物實驗經驗)
不可否認,有些履歷真的很棒,只是他的專長和我們需求不同
(譬如說做植物的就不合適了)
然後,如果連自傳都不寫,也是跳過
(沒寫自傳的這也是少數,但沒寫自傳真的很沒誠意,連自傳都不寫,
我很難評估這個人會在工作上有多大的投入?)
最後大約會剩下一兩成左右,我再從這些履歷裡面仔細再看,然候再選人來面試。
不過雖然我講了上面的原則,但是有時候會有例外,
譬如說大家投履歷時,都會有地方讓你寫自介信,
多數的人都是採用人力銀行的制式格式,
但是有少數人會很認真的撰寫
這時候我就會多花一點點時間去看,不過如果他條件不符合我們需求,
那也沒辦法,但至少他會比一些因為學歷就直接被刪掉的多了哪麼一點點機會。
以上僅供參考,這只是我的作法..
也許其他單位有不同的作法..
(PS.我不是人資,我是研發單位裡的一個小小主管)

這次找工作,看到好幾個同學,
但可惜專長不符合...只好刪除..
(我承認我會有私心,如果條件差不多的情況下,我會給我同學多一點的機會..
但是若硬是找了不對了人來,我自己也受害,因為新人受我管轄,
如果專長不合,以後累的是我自己)
目前生技業真的僧多粥少,一個私人單位的小小助理缺有這麼多人來應徵,
真的很可怕...而且真的有不少很棒的人才..(比我還棒)(但不適合這個缺)
有時候只是因為沒有遇到對的職缺,所以不好找..
有時候我都會想說,那天我如果沒在這做了,我會不會很難找工作?
我會需要多少時間才能找到下一份工作?????????
算了,不要想了,認真工作先~~

其實,找適合的人真的很重要...
除了這次找研發人員之外,
其實我幾個月前有找過技術人員..
當時一樣有非常多的人來應徵,
但是就知道這樣的職缺太優秀的人才待不久(之前的經驗)
所以找的時候,反而是要找"合適"這樣工作的人..
跟這次相反,高學歷名校畢業的反而不太敢用..
因為待不住..
當時找人我反而重視人格特質,
需要有耐性,心思夠細密的..
服從性高,不會有太多自我想法(因為這個工作需要根據標準作業程序進行)
這樣才能長久待下去..
所以阿,有很多漂亮學經歷的,不用難過,有時候只是這個缺不適合你而已。
而學經歷不漂亮的也不用擔心,有時候這反而是你的強項。
