該怎麼詢問公司？請大家幫忙（急） - offer

繼上次小妹拿到口頭offer後，公司與我自己都各自去詢問移民律師關於簽證問題，
後來我收到公司的一封信：
I have talked with our lawyer, they couldn't give us a definite answer
on how we can handle this yet. We still need to explore possible solution.
But in the mean time, I don't think we should wait. How about we start on
a contract basis and work part-time on our social media strategy for the
next couple of month? How about we give it some thoughts and see where we go?

於是我回信表示沒問題先做contract,但是希望能簽個合約，大家都有保障
另外因為full time跟part time薪水一定會有不同，所以我也問了關於part time
薪資該如何計算，大約隔了三天也就是近感恩節了，對方都沒有回信
我又補寄了一封客氣地詢問對方是否有收到信，希望能進快與對方合作

就這樣....昨天是感恩節後第一天開工，還是沒回
想請問有經驗的各位，我該等到幾天後再寄信去問？還有，該怎麼詢問比較好？
這樣一直沒回，我心很慌....而且很不容易有這樣的機會，真的不想放棄

補充一下，公司是新創一年半的小公司，老闆是來自北京
