其實很簡單
看外國企業怎麼做就好了
小弟曾在某外商純軟體公司工作
該公司有一套產品市佔率超過50% 毛利超過25%
而且已經連續好幾年
檯面上可見的對手技術面都遙遙落後
公司的研發經費占營運費用超過50%以上
假設有以上情況
台灣的老闆會怎麼做呢?
當然是裁掉高薪資深RD
用便宜薪水找新人來維護現有產品就好
把毛利提高到50%以上 公司本身賺錢
還可以藉由放消息炒股讓高層賺更多
但那家外商的做法就不一樣了
公司找一個資深RD帶領一個小團隊
進行下一代產品的開發工作
所有的程式碼都全部重寫
這個不到十人的團隊花了五六年以上才把
新一代產品做到可以動,而且效能可以相等或勝過現有產品
又過了兩三年才修正到可以release 取代現有產品
結果就是這個新一代產品又可以繼續稱霸市場十年以上
假使沒有預先開發這新一代產品
就會被這兩三年突然浮現的一些新興競爭者打趴在地上
若這時候才開始找人開發新一代產品 就等於把市場拱手讓人
就像很多台灣公司一樣 當個一代拳王
老實講找一個資深RD團隊花不了多少錢
年薪三百萬請十個高手一年也才三千萬
等到市場被競爭對手吃掉損失都是用幾億來算
台灣公司普遍的問題就是不把"人"當成重要資產在對待
不重視培養人才 也不重視留住人才
新人很難養成高手
少數幾個練武奇才在糟糕的環境煉成高手又不好好愛惜
最後都被外商撿走爽爽賺
反正那些公司高層也不在乎
炒股炒房把員工跟散戶股東的錢賺進自己口袋就好了
