收入支出家庭狀況直接攤開讓各位自己比較。 我也沒有在台灣上班過,所以我只能提供
在美國上班生活的經驗。 以下單位全部鎂,數字盡量取整數了方便閱讀。
家庭>
雙薪一夫(37)一妻(36)兩個小孩(2, 0.4)住在北加矽谷南灣獨棟宅,沒有其他親戚在這;
另外有一棟獨棟宅在南加出租中。
收入>
夫:目前職稱資深方案顧問,年薪現金約$180K 年獎金大概是現金的15% - 20% 加上每
年RSU約$85K。 現金扣稅後每兩周拿$3600,獎金剩一半,RSU也是約剩0.6倍。
妻:目前職稱產品經理,年薪現金約$150K,年獎金5% - 10%,RSU一年約20K, 現金扣
稅後每兩周因預扣較少拿$4000,獎金跟RSU剩0.6倍。
房屋1出租:每個月$3100。
其餘股票投資:說好不提,總之沒賺。
支出>
房屋1:2014購入南加房子房價近60萬,1970年代的房子。祖上有積積陰德雙方父母各
出1/3加上自己準備的1/3支付20%頭期款跟裝潢修繕費用約20萬,剩下全部貸款。目前月
繳貸款約$1900,每年財產稅$8K。
房屋2:2018購入北加矽谷南灣房價近140萬,1960年代的房子自帶游泳池。老背積積
陰德口袋摔出20%頭期款跟加上自己準備的裝潢修繕費約40萬,剩下貸款。目前月繳貸款
約$4500,每年財產稅$20K。
房屋維持雜支每月:兩個園丁共$220 游泳池維護$90 水費(兩間)$400 電費加瓦斯(一
間)$500
小孩1:蒙特梭利托兒所一個月$1850,周末有一天會有保母$250。 本來因為You
know who病毒,只請保母帶,時薪$27 x 8小時 x 5天還要補貼油錢跟節慶獎金,每個月
花費就$5K。保母離職只能周末來一天我還感覺輕鬆了點,不過2號出生了錢就移到2號身
上了,也沒省到
小孩2:托嬰一個月$1800
保險:除公司提供的健保外沒有保額外人壽險。 車險x2每年$2000 房屋險x2每年$1800
車:一台電車主要在公司充電另一台油電混合老婆在家上班很少開一個月油錢$100
吃吃吃跟雜支:周末會在外面買或吃一個星期約$150一個月就算$600好了。 平常買菜
跟家務維持的消耗品跟工具,一個月約$1000。 小孩每個月奶粉尿布衣服跟阿撒布魯從阿
罵爽直接訂一個月約$500。
月費年費類:網路$70 手機x2共$100 Netflix我不知道現在一個月多少了算$15 谷歌One跟
油土伯Premium每個月$15 電車通訊費$10 阿罵爽Prime一年$150 報稅會計師一年現
在要$1000
所得稅:聯邦稅還是預扣不夠,2021年份的要補繳$12000,但加州州稅退了$6000。
以上大概是想得到的經常性開銷了,偶發性的開銷就不用寫了。
收支平衡>
我懶得算了,總之上面列出來了你各位看官就好好感受,我直接把每個月結算出來的說出
來比較快。
現金部分目前每個月存... 大概$500到$1000。 有大額臨時開銷現金存款就會減少,常
常需要依靠年度獎金一次補回來。
RSU現在都還守著,沒有動到。但我們夫妻其實也都剛去有RSU的公司上班一兩年,還沒存
到多少。最近股市割韭菜,RSU跌掉不少,目前實際價值都已經比offer的時候還低。
財務方面的感想>
壓力時常很大,尤其看到房貸跟財產稅的帳單的時候都會想說要少吃一點。 牙齒要咬很
緊。最近有討論要南加房子賣掉手頭上現金充足一點給小孩做準備,結果就升息了。南
加房市就冷了點,觀望中。
生活方面的感覺>
我們夫妻不挑食,所有食物都吃,所以這邊有各式各樣不同的食物對我們來說非常新奇
。 灣區周遭就如其他人所說,各式人文風情自然景觀上山下海都有,肯出門的話也沒那
麼無聊。只是朋友少很多,沒有熱炒,沒有巷口滷肉飯乾麵,沒有隨時可以去逛個街的熱
鬧。因為在這沒有親戚也沒有太多朋友,小孩出狀況需要有人支援的時候沒有人,就是只
能犧牲工作跟生活自己上。 不少人請了保母幫傭打掃煮菜整潔顧小孩,然後自己全心上
班,變成一個賺錢機器也是滿可憐的。
工作方面的感覺>
跟其他人說的一樣,事情有做出來大家都看在眼裡,不太有人管你幾點來幾點走。 目前
公司是規定一個星期只要回去辦公室幾天,我自己因為可以專心上班所以喜歡去辦公室
。 如果沒有看醫生、帶小孩、偶發性事件,我就會去辦公室。 但是辦公室非公司規定要
來的日子,通常整層樓就我一個人;大家都會來的日子,大概兩三點就人就開始減少了
。 但是我要說看這個就決定別人拼不拚一點意義都沒有。 他人不在不代表沒在上班,大
部分的人其實都很認真,不認真的遲早就會被公司內部的評估給刷掉。 因為每個人都對
自己的時間掌握很有主見,平常就算公司有食物,吃飯時間同事之間也很少相揪吃飯,一
般都是趕快去吃,吃完回來趕快各自忙自己的事。
我自己是送完小孩塞車去辦公室,九點前後到。 沒要開會就去吃個快速早餐,然後做事
到中午前後一個段落趕快去吃午餐,然後做事到四五點左右離開開始顧小孩做菜做家事直
到十點,如果有東西要趕十點再繼續。
-工作上比較負面的: 畢竟每個人都想往上爬,競爭壓力其實不小。我上司跟我上司的
上司都有找職涯教練每個星期訂目標跟反省改進,沒小孩的同事普遍在公司內外找研習機
會;同時我上司的上司跟50%的我隊友都有看心理諮商,因為心理衛生的耗損太嚴重必須
常常透過諮商來修正。有小孩的人是很容易受到無形歧視的,因為常常要突然丟下工作去
處理小孩的事情或是每天可以上班的時間就是比較少。
-比較正面的:常常做的一個小東西真的就影響幾百萬上千萬甚至上億人,成就感也不小
。強者滿地,有體制的公司也非常願意投資在員工身上;在這邊要從公司體制內或是從強
者身上學東西學不完。同時也透過訓練跟歷練,還有公司文化上普遍都是鼓勵開放性的討
論,面對問題剖析跟思考方式會非常多樣化且迅速。
你問我之後打算要留在這還是回台灣喔?撇開老背有可能退休了我就要回去協助接班,其
實我是覺得各有各的好(講那麼多,結論給個廢話。) 我個人會覺得在台灣的生活我個
人過得比較愜意,朋友親戚都在可以一起笑一起傻一起分擔事情;但是我又很喜歡在矽谷
自我實踐的工作方式,做得好很自然地就會受到對等的評估。所以我哪天想要享受生活了
,我會回台灣;還想要拚,就繼續蹲矽谷online。
喔幹,可是我每次從桃園機場登機的時候還是會覺得我好像要收假回部隊每天過精實生活
了。
