The Senior Software Engineer – Tripadvisor Chinese Site will be a core
member of the engineering team for DaoDao.com, TripAdvisor's site in China.
You will be tasked with implementing solutions to the challenging problems
of developing a site for the Chinese travel market. Your responsibilities
will involve coordinating with the local DaoDao.com and TripAdvisor engineering
teams to build custom travel products for the DaoDao.com travelers.

Requirements:

- Fluency in Chinese(Mandarin) and English
- BS in Computer Science or equivalent (MS a plus)
- 5+ years of software development experience.
- Experience in leading small and medium sizes engineering teams.

Must have working knowledge of the following:
- Design and code high-volume software primarily using Java.
- In-depth and hands on knowledge of SQL
- Strong working experience of HIVE/Hadoop a big plus
- Knowledge of HTML/CSS/XML/JavaScript a plus
- Strong working knowledge of Unix, Apache, Tomcat a plus
- Knowledge of i18n best practices (experience with Localization a plus).

Passion for and experience developing great web products end-to-end.
Organized, self-motivated and detail oriented Strong analytical and
problem-solving skills
