Principle/Senior Data Scientist

Job Description:
1. Design and develop latest data analysis technologies and machine learning
models to solve practical problems such as pricing model or natural
language understanding.
2. Apply deep learning algorithms to improve understanding of user behavior,
risk prediction, or article understanding.
3. Develop the whole cycle of product, including exploration, design,
development, productization, promotion and expansion.
4. Conduct large scale data cleaning auto feature process.
5. Will explore financial technology algorithms in details. Problems include
but not limited to supply-demand elasticity, insurance technology,
financial signal analysis, risk analysis or other.

Qualifications:
1. Master's degree in computer science/statistics/mathematics or related field.
Ph.D. degree preferred.
2. Solid and hands-on mathematical modeling skills, familiar with machine
learning models DNN/RNN/tree nets/SVM.
3. Professional experience and proven ability in data scientist.
4. Deeply understanding of deep learning/neural network structures.
5. Proficient in programming languages (such as Python, Java, C/C++);
Knowledge of Hadoop/MapReduce/Hive/Spark; Experience in TensorFlow/Caffe.
6. Experience in insurance technology/actuarial science is preferred.
7. Experience in financial technology modeling is preferred.
8. Experience in Natural Language Processing is preferred.

Locations: Silicon Valley.
