1. Position: Senior Software Engineer

The successful candidate will be responsible for development of new products,
as well as maintenance and enhancements to existing products. You are able to
demonstrate a strong track record of developing Java/C++ financial
applications. You will need strong skills in application and server-side
development; possess strong problem solving and analytical skills; experience
in handling high-volume data system; and be able to work well with others in
a fast-paced team environment. You must have worked on a large scale
financial software in Java and C++. You will be asked to take leadership role
in development of the application modules. Demonstration of sound development
practice, object oriented and service oriented architecture, and design
patterns are a must. Experience in designing and maintaining distributed
computing environment is a plus.
Requirements:
5+ years of software development experience with 2+ years in financial
industry. Sound knowledge of financial instruments.
Expert-level knowledge with Java and open source frameworks: Spring,
Hibernate, Axis2.
Experience in developing C++ financial software.
Demonstrated ability to produce high-quality code. Sound knowledge of object
oriented design and various software design patterns and frameworks.
Extensive experience in/knowledge of latest technologies and related
commercial/open-source products or frameworks.
Must have previous experience of working with scalable high-performance
server system. Expertise in multi-threaded programming. Familiar with data
modeling and performance tuning.
Excellent at documenting architectural design. The candidate must demonstrate
excellent ability to communicate design ideas to cross-functional teams.
Proficient in SQL and Oracle. Good understanding of PL/SQL.
Proficient in working on Windows and Unix/Linux.
Good written and communication skills.
Self-motivated and team oriented. Work well with others in fast-paced, team
environment
Knowledge of agile software development processes. Experience in TDD.
Additional Skills:
Experience with C# and .NET
Experience in grid and parallel computing environment
Experience with Flex and JSF

Our Development Team seeks a Sr. Financial Engineer to conduct analytic
programming and financial model prototyping. Primary responsibilities
include: Prototyping complex financial models; Maintaining and enhancing
analytic calculation software components; Contributing to the design and
implementation of future analytic products; collaborating with analytic and
research groups in finding optimal algorithm designs for products.
Qualifications
-Master degree in computer science, finance, statistics, mathematics, physics
or equivalent; PhD preferred.
-Expert level C++, with solid understanding of good software engineering
(code management, software design, unit testing, experience working for
successful software companies preferred).
-Strong analytical ability.
-Good knowledge of quantitative financial theory (i.e. fixed income and
credit risk)
