from Fordist model to the Toyotist or Post-Fordist model. In the Fordist
model, the process of production is standard and fixes. And the workers are
like the equipment of machine in the factory. They don’t need to interact or
communicate with other workers or their consumers. But in the Post-Fordism,
new technologies required workers have knowledge to manipulate, and thus they
increasingly involve in the different aspects of factories. The highly
involvement also required workers to communicate and cooperate each other.
And in the Toyotism, factories would not stock any products and produce
commodities in time according to the present demand in the market. So, keep
interacting and communicating with consumer is important in the Toyolist
model.
