開除重大違規員工手續 - 離職

公司因為人事離職,目前沒有人事只由小弟暫時代理
剛好碰到了員工打架的重大違規事項
總經理要我直接開除員工,不知正確流程該怎處理
已查過勞基法應符合12條第二項對共同工作勞工實施暴行可直接終止契約
但我需要做些什麼手續呢??跟資遣一樣需要通報嗎??
該員工想討非自願離職書,有法令規定開除就不能申請嗎?
因為是第一次碰到開除,想了解如何處理,謝謝
