關於分發報到上班的問題 - 薪水

小弟在身特放榜後，於8月4號要分發報到，有幾個問題想請教
1 以前學校很"熱心"學姊告訴我，報到時用電話報到即可，薪水即刻算起，
然後在十日內到工作點正式報到，可以這樣嗎？I doubt it
2 8月底，以前學校的老師要過50大壽生日，在星期五，如果請假合適嗎？
還是新人守規矩點好？
