遊戲英翻中 3.5日幣/字 - 翻譯

藉這個案例提醒大家一下
對方是agency的話一定要跟發案方要PO
如果對方不發PO 也可以要一個在郵件中的Mini PO
至少在信件要註明
1.精確的字數統計 不是大概而已
2.價格
3.Deadline
4.Project code
有PO後續的紛爭會比較少

請他做最後確認 而不是就自己開始翻了 就算沒問 他都沒回信也沒PO的話
我會視為沒成交 因為人家根本沒針對你提出的問題回話 也沒給你其他的資料
另外我國的本地帳戶是可以收外幣的 只是會按當天匯率直接轉換台幣給你

於是我開始著手翻譯 並於週四晚上完成大半 但因電腦當機導致儲存前進度全部遺失
: 我於是只好繼續熬夜到四點鐘補上 並於早上九點先將部份進度給案主

: I didn't receive any more information as you mentioned in your last mail.
: I am sorry to inform you that the translation process might be completed

此案子是溝通發生問題 對方沒回你信加上給了你檔案讓你誤會 的確也是有疏失
不過這在翻譯公司是很常見的事情 但以我的經驗
很遺憾 這個案件大概是認賠了 翻譯公司不太可能付兩份錢的~
