1. "suffer depressions" --> 陷入憂鬱(沮喪)
Because "suffer" here seems to signal more than just "to feel".
Moreover, a person so numb as to "shut down" almost everything is not supposed
to FEEL.
2. "these states" --> 這樣的情況
Why not "這些" "狀態"?
In the preceding Chinese, "憂鬱" doesn't have a plural form as in English.
3. "a" renewed sense of purpose --> 偶有全新的目標感
Any comment is deeply appreciated.
