Iberomesornis was a small bird from the Cretaceous period. It had feathered
wings and was able to fly, not just glide. It was an omnivore, which means it
would eat anything it could find! Alphadon was one of the first-known
marsupials (it carried its babies in a pouch, like a kangaroo). Scientists
think that these tiny creatures lived in trees to avoid being squished by
dinosaurs.
