文章的註釋該怎麼翻？ - 翻譯

我得到的要求只有

「如遇注釋中原作者加上其解說或討論，此部份需全部譯出。如：
Cf. my "A Sociological View of the Secularization of Theology", Journal for
the Scientific Study of Religion, Spring 1967, for a more detailed analysis
of this constellation.
按順序譯出，即：
參見我的"A Sociological View of the Secularization of Theology", Journal for
the Scientific Study of Religion, Spring 1967，其中對這類問題作了較詳細的分析
。」

那如果不是原作者的解說

而是像「關於這方面的問題 請見某人所著某書」
或「例如某人著某書，其中某觀點」之類的
就不用「全部譯出」了嗎？
那到底是怎麼譯呢？
