我覺得可以不要 at 但是另有兩處請參考︰

為了性別平等，新鮮人 freshman 有人用 frosh 代替。而且會用 he or she 取代
光光一個 he (and himself or herself instead of just himself)。我個人論文
裏常用 s/he 來簡化，但這不是主流。
