Hey rebellian,
Thanks for pointing that out. ;)
I actually wasn't using the word "verdict" in its legal sense.
But then I guess I wasn't being precise enough--and I should've
been, since this is a translators forum-- when I juxtaposed
the phrase "final verdict" with "probation period" and the
rest of the paragraph.

Could you do me a favour and post this onto the forum?
