freelancer v.s in-house - 翻譯

Table of Contents

※ 引述《chunyilin (i love summer!)》之銘言:
: 昨天投了一封履歷應徵翻譯公司的助理
: 他問我是對freelancers或是in-house比較有興趣?
: 能否請教
: 這兩種的差別與內容嘛?

Regarding to my understanding, the differences are as belows:

In-house translator: Work regularly in working hours (that means
you should be "on-call" whenever your boss need you in that period
of time). My mistake, it should work in office. ~"~
Freelancer: Case by case. You only need to return the documents before
deadline.

The advantage of in-house translator is you can get payment more
regularly, but your time arrangement will be limited. Besides, it
is difficult to negociate the salary with your boss if you have no
idea how much you can earn (yup) as a freelancer.
