King James
1 Hear my cry, O God; attend unto my prayer.
2 From the end of the earth will I cry unto thee, when my heart is
overwhelmed: lead me to the rock that is higher than I.
3 For thou hast been a shelter for me, and a strong tower from the enemy.
New International
1 Hear my cry, O God; listen to my prayer.
2 From the ends of the earth I call to you, I call as my heart grows faint;
lead me to the rock that is higher than I.
3 For you have been my refuge, a strong tower against the foe.
Easy English
1 Hear me when I ask for help, God. Listen to my prayer.
2 I will shout to you from the ends of the earth when my heart is weak.
Lead me to a rock that is higher than I am.
3 For you have always been a shelter for me, a tower against the enemy.
** a rock 和 the rock 差很大…… refuge 比 shelter 含意更深 :p
