中譯英_執子之手，與子偕老 - 翻譯

我覺得這譯文有點怪，
「執子之手，與子偕老」的主詞應該是「我」，那位離開愛人遠征他方之男子，
所以應該是單數。

: 不過如果只取「執子之手，與子偕老」這句，要怎麼翻比較好??
: 英文詩的結構其實我不熟，勉強押個韻、混一下.....
: 之前還有想說，要不要很「假仙」的用 "thou" "thee" "thy"這類的字 XDD

thee是thou的受格
thy是thou的所有格
若要用，要留意case。

在漢語方面，除了此經典名句，台語的「牽手」亦是。

聽過Eternal Flame嗎？
第一句歌詞就是「Close your eyes, give me your hand, darling」
英文有一諺語為：ask for someone's hand
Eternal Flame的這句歌詞就是這個意思。

因此詩經這句似可翻成：Give me your hand, you are to be my eternal flame.
（flame有個意思是an object of one's passionate love; sweetheart）
