81. To steal information from a person is called plagiarism. To steal
information from the enemy is called gathering intelligence.

從一個人身上偷取資訊叫剽竊。從敵人那邊竊偷取資訊叫情報搜集。
（真是雙重標準。）


82. The weapon that usually jams when you need it the most is the M60.

M60機槍：當你越需要它時，它越會卡彈。
（那國造五七式機槍也是嗎？）

83. The perfect officer for the job will transfer in the day after that
billet is filled by someone else.

適任的軍官將會在營房被其他人佔用的第二天調入。

84. When you have sufficient supplies & ammo, the enemy takes 2 weeks to
attack. When you are low on supplies & ammo the enemy decides to attack
that night.

85. The newest and least experienced soldier will usually win the Medal of

份。）

90. The bursting radius of a hand grenade is always one foot greater than
your jumping range.

手榴彈的爆炸半徑總是比你的跳躍距離多一呎。
（不錯了，有些人連跳都來不及。)

91. All-weather close air support doesn't work in bad weather.
全天候空中密接支援在壞天氣中無效。
（雷達都會無效了，空中支援當然也會無效。）

92. The combat worth of a unit is inversely proportional to the smartness
of its outfit and appearance.
一個單位的戰鬥價值與其外表與裝備精密程度成反比。
（早就說過穿著最簡單制服的一方會打勝仗。）

93. The crucial round is a dud.
關鍵的一發總是啞彈。
（果然是關鍵。）

94. Every command which can be misunderstood, will be.
每一道有可能被誤解的命令就會被誤解。


95. There is no such place as a convenient foxhole.
沒有所謂便利的散兵坑。
（請問一下有誰知道什麼是便利的散兵坑嗎？？）

96. Don't ever be the first, don't ever be the last and don't ever
volunteer to do anything.
不要走第一個，也不要走最後一個，更不要自願做任何事情。
（不打勤、不打懶、專打不長眼。）

97. If your positions are firmly set and you are prepared to take the enemy
assault on, he will bypass you.
如果你的陣地有萬全準備，你也準備好迎接敵人攻擊，敵人就會繞過你。

98. If your ambush is properly set, the enemy won't walk into it.
如果你準備好伏擊，敵人就不會踏進來。

99. If your flank march is going well, the enemy expects you to outflank him.
