恕我才疏學淺 用一點"硬梆梆的文法"看你這篇學術文章
看第一句就好 什麼叫"an active"? 什麼叫"active of apprehend"?
我的認知裡面 朗文 劍橋 牛津辭典都沒出現過的意思應該就不要貿然使用
of後面也極少極少,極少使用動詞 我不知道在這邊是不是有什麼特殊的意義.

還有第一句的同位語和插入格用得很混亂 甚至讓人不知所云
在語言邏輯關係上,Hermeneutic指的應該不是"the etymon of this word"
而僅是"this word",這樣一來除了意義不明確之外,甚至給人句不成句,run-on sentence
之感.
而翻譯技法上也有所謂分切法(Cutting),拆譯法(Splitting)和重組法(Recasting)可以使
用,不一定要拘泥中文的斷句而通篇充滿and.
另外 it's evidence the process of...沒看過這種表示法
"bring to understand"就算是你自創的phrase, 也該符合語感一點 bring to
something(n.).
意譯方面冰冷的工具譯成 cold tool不甚佳,因為中英單詞的implication不同
這邊的冰冷指的應該不是"溫度低" 而是其"無生命"的性質
真的找不到其實還可以不要翻出來 畢竟總比誤導好.

最後,第一段最後一句 那個process的性質 值得再去琢磨
