Technology is big in this phase, but so is a special kind of engineering staff.
You need a tiny group of practical technologists who are craftspeople able to
translate dreams into prototypes that work. There is no product yet. It is in
the eye of your technical guru and marketing brain. Your engineers must be more
skilled as experimentalists who build prototypes then technicl staffers who
build products to specification. Many of the technology risks are unknowns in
this phase.
