這是微軟視窗 7（TM）升級指南中的一部份，但其他好像都差不多。

若您想直接升級您目前的作業系統，點選升級。原本的程式與使用者資訊
將會自動轉移至新安裝的視窗7作業系統。

您將無法重新進行升級的動作或是回復至之前所安裝的舊版本視窗。

1. 無法重新進行升級的動作：要是現在在升級過程中出問題的話，你就死定了！
2. 無法重新進行升級的動作：升級就這麼一次，要好好珍惜~~
3. 無法重新進行升級的動作：其實這升級遜斃了，轉用Linux 是最佳選擇。

我猜原文或許是：

If you would like to upgrade directly from your current operating system,
select "upgrade." The original applications and user information will be
automatically transferred to the new Windows 7 OS.

You will not be able to repeat this upgrade or to return to your old version
of Windows afterwards.
